Study on the Inhibitor of Zinc in Hydrochloric Acid Solution

A composite inhibitor of zinc in hydrochloric solution is prepared by orthogonal method.The inhibitive efficiency of the inhibitor has been evaluated by weight-loss method,electrochemical polarization-curve method and scanning electron microscopy techniques.The results show that the inhibitor is a kind of cathode type inhibitor.The corrosion rate of zinc in hydrochloric acid is low.The SEM photos indicates that signal of heterogeneous corrosion is not found under different corrosion condition.
