Study on curing reaction between epoxy resin and cardanol aldehyde-amine polymer

With cardanol aldehyde-amine polymer(PCD) as curing agent of epoxy resin(EP),a PCD/EP polymer was investigated by addition reaction and curing reaction.The influences of different factors were reviewed on the performances of PCD/EP polymer.The results showed that the combination property of PCD/EP polymer was best when mass ratio PCD to EP was 30:70.Meanwhile,the PCD/EP polymer had excellent chemistry-resistant,and adhesion between polymer and substrate,flexible,tensile strength,compressive strength,elongation at break,heat distortion temperature and pencil hardness were 1 level,1 mm,43.52 MPa,85.09 MPa,8.9%,125 ℃ and 2H respectively.
