Determination of Boric Acid in Compound Boric Acid Ointment by Neutralization

Aim To establish one method for the determination of boric acid in compound boric acid ointment.Method Neutralization titration.Results The calibration curves was linear over the range of 10.21～60.25mg for boric acid (r=0.999 9,n=5).The average recovery of boric acid was 99.48%(RSD=0.37%,n=9).Conclusion The titrating termination was sensitive and easy to be observed.This method is accurate for the determination of boric acid content.
