Dynamic infrared scene projector is the key technology of hardware in-the-loop (HWIL) and testing evaluating of infrared scene. It can simulate infrared scene in the laboratory, reduce the research cost of the optical electrical system and offer recycle environments. The technology and types of the dynamic infrared scene projector system are introduced and the design proceeding of the Digital Micromirror Device-based infrared scene projector system is described. In order to solve the problem of beam splitting, the prism design theory is used to design the splitter prism and the result of the system is given. The result indicates that the system satisfies the requirement. The better materials can be used to improve the design and gain better permeation rates and tighter structures.
