Based on a qualitative field study of temporary organizing of expertise for a complex concept design, we explore how concept design process proceeds and new knowledge is co-created on a digital co- creation platform. We also show the pivotal role of knowledge orchestration for efficient and effective knowledge co-creation through the relatively short and complex concept design project. Our paper contributes to the discussion on knowledge coordination in digital forms of organizing and more specifically on (orchestrating) knowledge co-creation process on the digital work platforms.
