A novel triphenylamine-perylenebisamidine molecule array(5) was synthesized from triphenylamine,ethylenediamine and 3,4,9,10-perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride. The structure was characterized by 1H NMR and IR. The optical performance of 5 was investigated by UV-Vis and fluorescence emission spectrum. The results showed that there was an intramolecular energy transfer process from triphenylamine to perylenebisamidine moieties.
