Study on epoxy resin modified by polysiloxanes.

It was summarized that there were four ways for preparing epoxy resin modified by polysiloxanes, which were reaction of polysiloxane contained hydroxyl/alkoxy between epoxy resin, reaction of polysiloxane contained amino between epoxy resin, reaction of polysiloxane contained Si-H between epoxy resin, and reaction of polysiloxane contained heteroatom between epoxy resin. It was discussed that the effects of epoxy resin modified by polysiloxanes on the phase structure, mechanical property and heat stability of epoxy resin.
