A NEW SQUALENE-BASED COMPOSITION AS A PROMISING ADJUVANT OF SUNUNIT VACCINES

A squalene-based adjuvant system with modifications in its formulation was created. Two variants of an adjuvant formulation were proposed. It was shown that the use of the proposed system helps to enhance immunogenicity of an antigen in a subunit vaccine based on RBD of spike protein (S) of SARS-CoV-2 by 4-fold compared to the use of a classical aluminum hydroxide-based adjuvant.
