摘要
Abstract As a common type of layered structure minerals in nature, the clay minerals generally have the characteristics of abundant reserves, stable chemical structure and low cost. The construction of multi‐component photocatalysts based on clay minerals can not only reduce the synthetic cost, but also promote the improvement of adsorption and recyclability properties of materials. This review introduces the current research progress of photocatalytic clay mineral‐based composites. First, the crystal structure features of clay minerals are classified and elaborated, then the latest research progress of materials in the fields of environmental management, energy conversion, biological antibacterial, etc., is summarized in detail, and finally the main deficiencies are pointed out based on the research status, the relevant suggestions are provided for the future development direction.
