Y2P2W18O62 was prepared by impregnation method and used for the catalytic synthesis of tetrahydrofuran from 1,4-butanediol.The influences of catalysts dosage,reaction time and reaction temperature on yield of tetrahydrofuran were studied.The results show that the optimal reaction condition are as follow,the mass ratio of 1,4-butanediol to catalyst 100∶2.9,reaction temperature 185~195 ℃ and reaction time 45 min.Under such conditions,the yield of tetrahydrofuran reached 98.1%.The catalyst could be reused for 4times and the yield was still above 98.0%.
