Discussion about the control voltage selection of nonlinear resistance for the large synchronous generator de-excitation system

The de-excitation system is one of the key devices in the excitation system. If the reasonable controlled voltage of de-excitation is selected,the reliability of de-excitation system and the stability of the excitation system will be improved. The main circuit of de-excitation is analyzed,and a de-excitation simulation based on a typical generator parameters is finished. The selection method of de-excitation voltage for nonlinear resistance is obtained.And it also provides evidence for the de-excitation design of excitation system and components selection,and has important guiding significance.
