摘要
The rating of perceived exertion when using a category-rating scale (the RPE-scale) grows linearly with increasing heart rate in exercise tests with a step-increase of the work loads (Borg, 1972a). The variation in heart rate cannot, however, “explain” the variation in perceived exertion. It is just to be seen as an indicator of an adaption to a higher submaximal work load. To maintain a special work level, oxygen is needed continually. When heart rate is increasing, more oxygen becomes available. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
