Upcycling waste polyamide into sustainable plastics by catalyst-free and solvent-free melt polycondensation

Waste polyamide 66 has been successfully upcycled into a sustainable anhydride-linked material via a carboxyl–amide exchange process, and high-purity adipic acid is also effectively recovered, without the need for catalysts or solvents.
