Current Status of Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm Applications

As a novel evolutionary computation technology, swarm intelligence is now becoming a new research hotspot. As a representative method of swarm intelligence, ant colony optimization (ACO) is a novel simulated evolutionary algorithm which was proposed first by M. Dorigo and has been applied in many fields. The current status of ACO applications is given in this paper.
