Organochlorine Pollutants and Monitoring Method in China

Persistent organic pollutants (POPs) such as hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) are very universal in China. Contents variables of POPs in soil and agriculture product after prohibiting in 1980's are described, and regional distribution, monitoring method, degradation and migration of these pollutants are also discussed.
