This chapter examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into qualitative research in business studies, exploring theoretical foundations, practical applications, and future implications. The convergence of AI and qualitative methodologies offers opportunities and challenges, prompting reevaluation of research paradigms and raising epistemological questions. AI tools contribute to various stages of the research process, but there are implementation challenges. The chapter emphasizes maintaining human oversight and critical ethical considerations. Interdisciplinary collaboration opportunities are highlighted, showcasing potential advancements in understanding complex business phenomena. While AI presents innovative approaches to data analysis, limitations such as lack of contextual understanding are acknowledged. The chapter concludes by advocating for a balanced approach that leverages AI capabilities while upholding the integrity of qualitative inquiry, encouraging researchers to critically reflect on AI's role in advancing business research.
