摘要
Summary statement SlDTX29 , which encodes a putative MATE family transporter, attenuates tomato resistance against late blight. This phenotype is partially mediated by suppressed transcription of SlCAT1 , the most highly expressed CATALASE in tomato leaflets. Genetic knock‐out of SlDTX29 of this gene could be a viable approach to genetically enhance late blight resistance.
