摘要
Traditional way to upgrade the stability and current efficiency performance of OLED device is seeking for new generation of electroluminescent materials. We provide a composite cavity design for longer lifetime, lower cost, and equivalent luminance by using the same materials. It consists of two first‐order red and green cavities and a second‐order blue cavity, which means different optical thickness of the RGB micro cavities. Due to the shorter distance between emitting molecules and metal electrodes, 1 st order cavity obtains longer lifetime by surface plasmon coupling. A 52.7% improvement of calculated white lifetime can be accomplished with a respective 89.1% and 54.9% longer lifetime of red and green devices. 1/3 even more organic materials can be saved. Less angular luminance decay and lower working voltage are also demonstrated in the experimental part.
