Reconstructing the electronic structure of nickel selenide by Cu incorporation for an enhanced alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction

This work demonstrates electronic reconstruction of nickel selenide with Cu, for enhanced alkaline HER activity and the dynamic phase evolution of nickel selenide over time enables it to outperform the state-of-the-art Pt at all potentials.
