This paper investigates the pre-breakdown discharge process of electrodes in saline solution. By conducting a mechanical analysis of bubble formation in saline and examining the conditions for bubble discharge, we established a theoretical model for the formation and variation of the vapor layer around the electrodes (the pre-breakdown process). The thermodynamic aspects of bubble expansion were analyzed, and based on the vapor layer resistance model, formulas for calculating resistance, voltage, and current during bubble expansion were derived. Additionally, deep learning techniques were employed for simulation and prediction. When a certain threshold is reached, the bubble ruptures, leading to the generation of plasma, accompanied by a “crackling” sound and the emission of orange-yellow plasma light.
