摘要
The IIC bus is widely used for communication between devices due to its simple structure and few connections. Many serial storage devices and sensors also use IIC interfaces. The existing IIC communication is mostly implemented through processor control, and the existing IIC driver algorithms have deficiencies in program structure, making them unable to handle situations with high time control accuracy. FPGA has been widely used in interface control due to its high-speed parallel characteristics. This article uses FPGA to design an IIC interface controller. Taking AT24C02 as an example, it provides a detailed introduction to the hardware design, device read and write addresses, and IIC interface timing of AT24C02. We designed a state machine using Verilog HDL language and implemented an IIC interface controller. Through simulation testing and SignalTap II hardware verification, it is possible to achieve IIC read and write control of AT24C02 devices, which has certain reference application value.
