Oxygen Therapy Part 2 — Indications and Toxicity

The first part of this article1 discusses the history, physiology, and evaluation for oxygen therapy. In this second part, we discuss the acute and chronic indications for oxygen, the delivery of supplemental oxygen (outside of invasive and noninvasive positive-pressure ventilation), and its potential adverse effects and toxicity.
