摘要
The purpose of this study is to develop an easy detection method of biopsy needle position, which was difficult to be detected until now using the usual ultrasonic diagnostic equipment. That is, we propose a detection method that uses the Doppler effect due to ultrasonic vibration of the needle, using a color Doppler imaging system. Firstly, we describe the method proposed and its principle. Secondly, we show the experimental results obtained by the method. From these results, it was found that detection of a biopsy needle could successfully be achieved by the Doppler effect due to the needle ultrasonic vibration which was excited by a piezoelectric ceramic disk vibrator.
