The Research Advancement of Heat Shock Protein 90 in Tumor Prevention and Therapy

HSP90 is one of important proteins in the family of heat shock protein.The molecular chaperone HSP90 is important in maintaining the conformation,stability and function of many proteins and in regulation of celluar growth,differentiation and apoptosis.Recently it was reported that HSP90 play a key role in the neoplastic transformation,proliferation and invasion of tumor.HSP90 has become a potential molecular target that can be interact with antitumor drugs.This article reviewed both the relation of HSP90 and tumor and recent poogress of HSP90 inhibitor in treatment of tumor.
