Determination of flavonoids from Citrus Reticulata 'Chachi' peel extract

Objective To establish a HPLC method to determine flavonoids from Citrus reticulata ' Chachi' peel extract.Methods Hesperidin,nobiletin and tangeretin were determined on Phenomenex Luna C_(18)(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm) column and detected at 283 nm and 330 nm.The mobile phase was consisted of acetonitrile and 0.2%acetic acid.The column temperature was 25℃.Results The linear range of hesperidin was within 8.240 - 164.8μg/mL(r = 0.999 7),and the recovery was 97.3%with RSD =2.6%.That of nobiletin was within 8.030 - 160.6μg/mL(r = 0.999 8),and the recovery was 99.1%with RSD = 0.9%.That of tangeretin was within 8.210 - 164.2μg/mL(r =0.999 8),and the recovery was 97.6%with RSD = 1.3%. Conclusion This method is simple and accurate,which may provide a reference for the quality control of Citrus reticulate ' Chachi' peel extract.
