摘要
Demand-responsive transport offers fresh approaches to the rail transit “last-mile” issue with its flexible services and adaptable models. This study utilized data obtained from the RP+SP online questionnaire survey to investigate the rail transit connection mode, taking into account demand-responsive transport. The conditional logit model was employed for analysis, and the estimated values of each influencing factor were examined to derive parametric results. Research indicates that there is a negative correlation between the chance of selecting a demand-responsive bus connection and waiting time, driving time, and single-travel cost. Specifically, the probability reduces by 32% for each additional minute of waiting time, 18% for each additional minute of driving time, and 11% for each additional dollar in single-travel cost. The selection likelihood for demand-responsive transport in rail transit links reaches its peak at 48% when the distance of the connection is 2.5 km. In the context of a 1.5–2 km connection distance, individuals exhibit greater tolerance towards time and cost factors when faced with inclement weather conditions or with multi-travelers, as compared to walking. This study holds significant reference value with regard to the advancement and implementation of demand-responsive transport.
