FEA analysis of residual dentin in defected posterion restored with post and core crown

Objective:To compare the stress of residue dentin in different defected posterior restored with post and core crown .Method:FEA model was constructed by section and stress in residue dentin was analysed.Result:When the residual is lower than 1/2 ,climax stress occured in the residual dentin .Conclusion:The amount of residual dentin could effect the fracture resistance.
