Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of topical tacrolimus ointment 0.03% for the treatment of patients with facial steroid corticosteroid dependent dermatitis.Methods: 31 patients were treated with topical tacrolimus ointment 0.03% twice a day for 4 weeks,30 patients were treated with topical zine oxide ointment 10% for 4 weeks in the control group.Meanwhile the adverse events were observed.Results: The effective rates are 93.55% and 43.33% respectively in the treatment group and the control group.There is a distinct difference between the two groups(P0.05).The adverse events were erythema,buring and pricking but it could be bearable.Conclusion: Topical tacrolimus ointment 0.03% is a safe and effective treatment option for the patients with facial corticosteroid dependent dermatitis.
