The effect of equal channel angular extrusion on punching properties of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheets

The mechanical properties and punch forming properties of the magnesium alloy sheets after the equal channel angular extrusion(ECAE) process were studied.The results showed that the strain-hardening coefficient,anisotropy factor and limiting drawing ratio(LDR) of magnesium alloy sheets were optimized,which caused an improvement in the punching properties of AZ31B magnesium alloy sheets.
