DIC–borane-catalyzed selective methylation of primary amines with CO2 using boranes as reducing agents

The highly selective N -methylation and N,N -dimethyaltion of primary amines using 1 atm CO 2 in the presence of DIC-BH 3 ∙piperazine and DIC-BH 3 ∙NMe 3 catalytic systems, respectively, were developed.
