Study on the peduncle development of four varieties of Phalaenopsis

The flower bud development characters of four varieties including P.Queen Beer,P.Little Steve 295 and P.Brother Girl had been studied after period of time at an elevation of 800 meters.The result showed that the peduncle development process of different varieties,the peduncle development schedule between different plants of the same variety and the peduncle development speed of different period of these Phalaenopsis had quite difference.Furthermore,the question how to regulate florescence on different length peduncles of these varieties were discussed in order to control number of flower in the Spring Festival.
