Review on Progress of Cellulosic Ethanol Industrialization

Fuel ethanol production from raw cellulosic biomass materials is an important aspect of cellulose resource utilization on industrial level.In this article,the important technologies in cellulosic ethanol production,such as feedstock pretreatment process,cellulose hydrolysis and fermentation of pentoses and hexoses,was reviewed.And cellulosic ethanol project at home and abroad was briefly introduced.
