摘要
The simulation of the magnetic fields in soft magnetic materials of the electrical machines is commonly based on the nonlinear scalar magnetization curves, which ignores the anisotropy and hysteresis effects of the non-oriented magnetic materials. This paper studies the hysteresis effects of the soft magnetic materials in the permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM). The anisotropic vector stop model is incorparated into the magnetic vector potential formulations to simulate the anisotropic hysteresis effects locally. The results of finite element simulations of a surface mounted PMSM are presented and a comparison between the anisotropic anhysteretic approach and the vector hysteretic approach is discussed.
