摘要
Abstract Iron nanoparticles in carbon nanogranules have been in‐situ generated during the synthesis of lower olefins from Syngas. Very uniformly distributed these carbon embedded iron nanoparticles are found to be very selective for the direct F−T synthesis of lower olefins. The iron incorporated carbon nanogranules were synthesized from refinery heavy residue/vacuum residue and ferrocene. The iron nanoparticles are sTable and do not undergo major sintering during the activity run. The HRTEM images show well dispersion of iron nanoparticles during reduction to reaction processes.
