Degradation and adsorption of SF6 decomposition components using AlN nanocones: a combined DFT and ab initio molecular dynamics study

Aluminum nitride nanocones (AlNNCs) efficiently adsorb and degrade SF 6 decomposition byproducts, where the sidewall of the AlNNC plays a significant role, and SO 2 F 2 exhibits the highest selectivity.
