摘要
The uneven reflective layer, micro‐reflective structure (MRS), has been shown to enhance the diffuse reflection in reflective LCDs and trans‐reflective LCDs, which can optimize the brightness viewing angle and improve the paper‐like effect. To optimize the design of the MRS structure in the reflective layer, an optical simulation method has been developed, which can facilitate the simulations of both the viewing angle and the reflectivity of reflective LCDs. This simulation method facilitates the optimization of MRS design efficiently, permitting the identification of the optimal design parameters. The results show that the optimized MRS design can effectively enhance the diffuse reflectance ratio, thus improving the display effect of reflective LCDs.
