摘要
Sodium glucose cotransporter 2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) slow the rate of progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD, as measured by annual rate of change in estimated glomerular filtration rate [eGFR]) and delay the onset of kidney failure. The EMPA-KIDNEY trial recruited a broad range of patients with CKD at risk of progression which allows exploration of the determinants of these effects.
