DETERMINATION OF PAEONIFLORIN IN PAEONIA LACTIFLORA PALL AND TRADITIONAL CHINESE PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATIONS BY HPCE

OBJECTIVE:HPCE method for determination of Paeoniflorin in Paeonia lactiflora Pall and Traditional Chinese Pharmaceutical Preparations was deleloped.METHODS:Measurements were carried out in a buffer solution containing 50 mmol·L -1 borax solution(pH10.6),at 20kV running voltage applied to a 50 cm×50 μm capillary.The detection wavelength was 230 mm.RESULTS:The linear range is 0.0625～ 1.0000 mg·ml -1 , RSD in a day is 1.61%, RSD between days is 3.15%.The recovery of paeoniflorin is 98.01%-99.43%.We also used the method to determine paeoniflorin in paeonia lactiflora pall,xiaoyaowan and jiaweixiaoyaowan.The data were highly correlated to those obtained by HPLC.CONCLUSION:The methods are simple,rapid,economic and accurate.
