Synthesis and Characterization of 2-(4-Pyridyl)-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles

Seven novel 2-(4-pyridyl)-5-aryl-1,3,4-oxadiazoles were synthesized by cyclization of N,N′-diacylhydrazines(2) with POCl_3.2 were obtained from 4-nicotinic hydrazine reacted with aroyl chloride using Na_2CO_3 as acid acceptor for 6 h~7 h.The structures were characterized by ~1H NMR,IR,MS and elemental analysis,and fragmentation mechanism of MS spectra was discussed as well.
