Multi-fabric system ′s integrated thermal protective performance used in fire fighting and outer fabric are researched in this article. High flame-retardant fabrics including domestic meta-aramid, Dupont Nomex Ⅲ and aramid fabrics of 3 A, with felt of domestic meta-aramid fiber and flame retardant cotton fabric ′s flame-retardant performance is tested through vertical flammability test, multi-fabric system ′s integrated thermal protective performance is tested through the Thermal Protective Performance test. The conclusion is as follow: the fabric system with the largest thermal protective performance consists of domestic meta-aramid fabric, the areal density of 200 g/m2 of felt of domestic meta-aramid fiber and flame retardant cotton fabric; but the most appropriate fabric system for the fire fighting consist of Nomex Ⅲ fabric, the areal density of 200 g/m2 of felt of domestic metaaramid fiber and flame retardant fabric.
