Application of Biphasic Ionic Liquid in Biocatalysis

Research advances in different applications of biphasic ionic liquid in biocatalysis were briefly reviewed,the properties of applications were introduced and the problems in the present researches were discussed.Many pure enzymes or whole-cell enzymes are able to be active in ionic liquid or biphasic ionic liquid,so the ionic liquid has become the research focus in the biocatalysis reactions by this unique advantage in recent years.
