What is more, the structure of alkene and the composition of reagent are limited, too. Therefore, this method has its limitations. However, when Markovnikov’s rule is seen essentially from the aspect of the influence of electronic effect, the orientation of electrophilic addition reaction of any asymmetric reagent and asymmetric alkene can be explained.
