Study on the Harvesting Years of Pueraria lobata

Objective To determine the harvesting years of Pueraria lobata and provide scientific basis for protection of wild resources and planting of Good Agriculture Process(GAP).Methods Puerarin was determined by HPLC from different growth years of Pueraria lobata.Results For one-year old block-root and the vine of Pueraria lobata,the contents of puerarin were 1.82% and 1.25% respectively,but in the five-years old block-root and over two-years old vines,puerarin was the highest,reached to 7.86% and 3.02% respectively.Conclusion It was better as medicine on the growth of five-years old block-root and over the two-years old vine of Pueraria lobata.
