The Sources, Species and Measurement of Reactive Oxygen Species in Aquatic Environment

The microchemistry of many living matters is often related to reactive oxygen species(ROS).This paper described the sources,species and measurement of ROS.ROS are very strong reactivity groups including 1O2(single oxygen),O2-.(superoxide radical) / HO2·(hydroperoxide radical),?OH(hydroxyl radical),H2O2,RO·(alkylperoxide radical),ROOH(hydroperoxides),etc.ROS could be produced in radiolysis,thermolysis,and redox process.At the present time,their measurements include probe methods,collection of illustrative plates methods,and enzyme methods.
