Experimental on strengthening fire-damaged reinforced concrete beam with carbon fiber reinforced polymer

The research on using carbon fiber reinforced polymer(CFRP) for strengthening reinforced concrete construction damaged by fire is not conducted widely.According to the features after fire the reinforced concrete beams strengthened with CFRP were tested.The result shows that bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with CFRP can considerably improved,it is an available and practical method.Technological foundation is provided for strengthening design method of reinforced concrete construction damaged by fire,and the result gives a reference to strengthening similar constructions after fire.
