Synthesis of Straight and Multiwall Carbon Nanotube by CVD Method

In general straight carbon nanotubes are fabricated by electrical arc method. Here it is reported that using a simple method straight carbon nanotubes can be deposited. The research results show that straight carbon nanotubes can be made by CVD co-deposition of catalyst and carbon nanotubes method. Catalyst content in precursor mixture controls straight tube formation and the deposition temperature does not influence that.
