摘要
The increased levels of intestinal SCFAs, such as acetic acid, propionic acid, and butyric acid, improved the expression of short-chain fatty acid receptors (FFAR3) and glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), enhancing the secretion of the intestinal hormones GLP-1. Thus, this study provides potential clinical implications of whole wheat as a dietary strategy to improve glucose homeostasis for obese populations.
