Stabilization of the ferrielectric phase in NaNbO3-based lead-free ceramics for a wide-temperature large electrocaloric effect

The newly discovered high-temperature ferrielectric phase in NaNbO 3 is stabilized at room temperature by compositional modification, providing the basis for obtaining a giant electrocaloric effect in a wide temperature range.
