摘要
The electro surgical generator (ESG) uses high-frequency alternating current to perform surgery on the surface of human tissues. In order to achieve the desired therapeutic effect, ESGs need to provide constant power to the rapidly changing load, which require the wide-range output voltage. This paper proposes a multiphase interleaved reconfigurable high-frequency-voltage inverter, including two operation modes: half-bridge operation mode for minor surgery such as coagulation and full-bridge operation mode for major surgery such as cutting. The multiphase interleaved structure can improve the dynamic performance and reduce the output voltage ripple. The proposed converter can output the wide-range voltage by switching between the half-bridge mode and the full-bridge mode. The simulation and experimental results validate the theoretical analysis well.
