摘要
Smart material is one of the materials being developed at this time because it's very useful in every aspect. One of the smart materials that being developed is polyvinylidene fluoride. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a fluoropolymer that has several phases that also have different characteristics. Some of the phases have polar characteristics and also have non-polar characteristics. PVDF being used in so many things, for example, for the sensor. PVDF sensor has a piezoelectric characteristic. Meanwhile, alcohol is very easy to be burned but also can be used as fuel like biofuel. Alcohol used in this study is ethanol and isopropyl alcohol. Ethanol is from primary alcohol, while isopropyl alcohol is a secondary alcohol. In this study, the concentrations that were used are 50%, 70%, and 90%. This study is to find out the effects of concentrations on the current. The On-sensor response shows the higher concentration of alcohol, the lower current will get, and the lower resistivity too.
